Okay, so yesterday, I was set up with my new school computer, a rather homely looking device that actually runs rather smoothly. After going through all of my virtual courses and their orientations and emailing the professors and other such nightmares, I gave myself some leisure time to come back (much sooner than expected) and let you guys know that I won’t actually be leaving you!
I will, in fact, have better means of blogging each day, with the self-imposed stipulations that I have the days’ homework and other such chores to do before I log in here and post to you lovely creatures.
As you can see, I am on the fast track to success, as I am sitting here in this slightly too cold room, blogging my heart out like it’s my very first time. A heartwarming experience for you and I both, I’m sure.
Just like the time your heart skipped a beat and then lodged in your throat after you checked your email and found a notification that Telea had posted a blog. Just like that other time that your hands began shaking and your breath came in spurts…which was when you initially discovered my blog.
Anyway, enough of talking myself up and more of talking other people up. I have all of these awesome followers who occasionally make me feel so special I could just die happy right now. Today, the lucky person was my dear follower at http://charliecountryboy.wordpress.com/, who nominated me for the Lovely Blog Award.
…Which I will be turning down. Mostly because, though I am incredibly flattered, I find these things to be rather torturous to the free-spirited person that is Telea, and forces her into a certain schedule for her blog post, which she does not at all like.
I would like to thank you, though, and I would also like to mention that I visited your blog more thoroughly than I had in the past, and realized that I very much enjoy your writing style. And yes, I do happen to have a very lovely blog.
You guys are all going to be mad when I say that the next few days will probably snap back into the spirit of the Renaissance, as I am finally going to be visiting the Minnesota Renaissance Faire tomorrow! We plan to be there all day, and experience great and beautiful things! I, for one, am already getting in the spirit. I have coordinated at least half of my outfit, and also a reasonable change of shoes, as my pirate boots are rather menacing.
Expect me to come back reeking of Renaissance, and drenched in a badly-concealed accent that I might not be able to get rid of for a good fortnight. Anyway, I must adjourn this wonderful blog session in order to get ready for a night over at the house of my friend Alexa.
I will blog again at some point on Sunday, as I will be gone well into the night tomorrow.
